Some little things

Hello folks,

I've started this blog... So if you'd like to see how I'm doing and can't be bothered emailing because you're busy busy people, and facebook is hectic, or what have you... you can just have a quick peep and get back to being busy.

I miss the smell of damp eucalyptus, the taste of fresh tank water, the 'tinking' sound of the green man allowing you to cross the road, walking on the hot earth bare foot and the warm sun on my back.

However, I'm far far from homesick. I'm loving every moment here...
When I meet someone new. When snowflakes gets caught on my eyelashes and I pretend I'm the white witch from Narnia. When I'm riding my yellow bike named 'Centurion'. When I understand a conversation in Danish. When two old Turkish ladies offer me a prune at a bus stop. When I eat jam, cheese and bread for Breakfast. When I become familar with putting on copious amounts of clothing on to go outside...

I hope everyone is well back home, enjoy the sunshine for me!

Beautiful photos and a very good way for the rest of us (ie your Mummy) to follow your doings. I will pass this on to my niece Caitlin, too - to make her homesick!).
